Our Why

We Saw a Gap We Wanted
to Sink Our Teeth Into

Watching our dogs tear through stuffed toy after stuffed toy,
we started to feel guilty about all the waste.

It felt like there weren’t a lot of sustainable dog toys on the market,
and the ones we could find weren’t easily accessible in Canada.
So, we decided to become the change we wanted to see!

Plus, this gave us a chance to pay homage
to some of our favourite iconic Canadianisms.

Did you know most dog toys are made with virgin polyester,
which is made from a non-renewable resource (oil) using an energy-intensive process.
It is usually not biodegradable, and can end up in landfill for 200 years!


Our dog toys are made with recycled material -- meaning,
they're less toxic for your dog and better for the environment!
Plus, we ship our toys using biodegradable bags made from cornstarch.
